Ingredients (4 people)
• 1kg floury potatoes
• 20g butter
• 20ml warm milk
• 500g kale
• 250g smoked sausage
• 100g bacon lardons

Preparation time • 25-30 minutes
Boil the potatoes for about 20 minutes in a small amount of water with a pinch of salt. Drain
the potatoes and add the milk and a knob of butter then mash. Add the boiled kale and mash together with the potatoes. Meanwhile, fry the lardons in an ungreased frying pan. Reheat the potato mixture briefly. Stir in the bacon lardons. Serve the kale mash with smoked sausage. Make a well in the centre of the mash and pour in some gravy.
Tip: By steaming the potatoes the vitamins are retained.
